Building a Mobile Game

If you do not have a Godot game yet, this page will help you get started.

What you will need

  • Godot installed on your computer

Pocket Godot

Pocket Godot by Lucky is a Godot project you can use as a starting point for mobile game development. It includes touch-based controllers and three demo projects you can build on.

Includes:

  • Joystick and touchpad controller system
  • First-person, third-person, and top-down demos
  • Pre-built APK to test on your Android device

You will learn:

  • Multi-touch input handling
  • Resolution-independent UI
  • Touch screen button positioning
  • Testing touch input on desktop
